Progress Post #7 - November 2, 201711/3/2017 This week I finally finished my self portrait! I was able to tone down the white charcoal immensely and added deeper shadows to promote the contrast. I also made the drawing looser in order to emulate Toulouse-Lautrec's style. I erased many smudges and created a faded background like my Old Master's drawing. I am reasonably satisfied with my work, although I do feel that it differs from my Old Master's drawing a bit too much in ways that I can no longer change. On Friday, I began mounting my Old Master's drawing, and I hope to mount both of my works by next Friday.
